It gives me great pleasure to announce that Abhinav Chandrachud and Lawrence Liang have kindly agreed to join the LAOT team.

He writes regularly in national newspapers and law journals, and is interested in constitutional law and the judiciary. He is going to be an associate for a law firm in Los Angeles later this year.

Lawrence Liang is a researcher and writer at the Alternative Law Forum. One of the co-founders of ALF, Lawrence’s areas of interests have been in law and culture, politics of copyright and law and literature. He is currently working on a book on law and justice in Hindi cinema which tries to bring together film, philosophy and law. He graduated form the National law School in ’98 and did his Masters at the Univ. of Warwick. He is pursuing his Phd from the School of Arts and Aesthetics at JNU.

On behalf of the LAOT bloggers and readers I welcome them to the blog, and look forward to reading their stimulating posts on law and other things.
