I am very pleased to announce that we have a new colleague joining us here on Law and Other Things. Rohit De is a doctoral candidate in the Department of History at Princeton University. His interests are in South Asian legal history, legal anthropology and comparative law. His dissertation project focuses on the transition from a colonial legal system to a postcolonial legality. Rohit graduated with a B.A, LL.B (Hons) degree from the National Law School of India University and completed his LL.M at the Yale Law School in 2006. Before starting at Princeton, Rohit spent a year as the Fox International Fellow at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge University
