The results of the annual second review of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act have been released by the Lawyers’ Collective. The results have been discussed at a seminar organised by the Lawyers’ Collective and National Commission for Women in Delhi. The proceedings of the seminar have been reported in this news story released by the Women’s Feature Service. The story says that the LC’s report carrying the second review highlighted several trends but what came through clearly was the great variability in the implementation of the law.
