The IP address is collected so that we can estimate which users from which countries open the email most frequently so that we can schedule our posts to best reach most people.

We use the services of Akismet.com an anti-spam comment service by Automattic, to prevent spam on our comments. We moderate posts and comments on our website before they are published. When you comment on a page or post on our website, your name and email are required to verify and prevent spam. You may choose to include your website and also opt-in to save your name, email, and website for the next time you comment. We log the IP address as well to prevent spam.

Search engine terms used and views of posts are collected to help us better the way we create our posts to reach more viewers. Links clicked are recorded to help us assess viewership trends (only the click is logged, we do not differentiate which IP address or account clicks a link). IP address of viewers of a post in this regard is logged to establish number of viewers of our posts to prevent inflation of post viewership.
The logging of names, email address and blogs of those who have chosen to subscribe and follow our posts using WordPress is required by the service provider – WordPress.
Your personal data is also collected for security and fraud prevention, and to ensure that our website is safe and secure.
We use a contact form to log whereby you may choose to send us any queries, submissions or suggestions by email. The data collected includes:
