Shalini Iyengar is a lawyer and doctoral student at the Department of Anthropology, Yale University. Shalini received her law degree from NLSIU Bangalore and she holds advanced degrees in socio-legal studies and human rights law from Stanford Law School, University of Oxford, and IUC Turin. Her research interests include enviro-legal anthropology and political ecology with a particular focus on environmental protection discourses in the Bay of Bengal littoral.
