Jindal Global Law School: Faculty Announced

The Jindal Global Law School has announced its faculty. This list is here. With law schools mushrooming in India, it may be useful, in due course, to examine faculty strenghts in different law schools. Currently, it seems that NUJS is doing extremely well on this front, having recruited both Sudhir Krishnaswamy and Shamnad Basheer. I noticed that Prabhash Ranjan, who wrote an article on WTO law in last week’s EPW, also teaches at NUJS. Of course, several leading legal academics in India don’t teach at law schools but are associated with other institutions. For instance, a number of scholars, including Pratap B. Mehta, Lavanya Rajamani and Shylashri Shankar, are currently at the Centre for Policy Research.
